Obituary for Deborah Murphy

Deborah “Deb” Eason Murphy, 64, of Lakeville passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at her home with family at her side, following a long courageous battle.
Deb was born July 12, 1954 in Millersburg and was the daughter of the late Richard and Faye (Westfall) Eason.  She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in McZena and the Lakeville Volunteer Fire Dept. Aux.  Deb was a huge supporter of her children and grandchildren’s events and activities, collected Eeyores and loved her ice cream.
She is survived by her husband Harrison, whom she had been married to for 47 years; three daughters, Michelle (Dave) Korda of Austintown, Angela (Gregg) Dawson of Loudonville, Melody Murphy of Lakeville and son, Kenny Murphy of Lakeville; eight grandchildren, Joshua Stimpert, Alexis, Michael, Cheyenne and Trevor Dawson; Morgan, Gillian and Alaina Murphy; two sisters, Sandy Anderson of Millersburg and Susan Davis of Nashville; and a brother, Kaye Eason of Wooster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Eason and sister Carol Black.
Friends and family may call Friday, March 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve.  Funeral services will be Saturday, March 2nd at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Angel Jackson officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St John’s Lutheran Church, 46 Ashland Co. Road 2575, Lakeville, OH 44638.
