Obituary for Dennis E. Carson

Dennis E. Carson,78, of Wooster, Passed away November 18, 2019 at The Avenue at Wooster following a long illness.
Dennis was born to Edward Carson and Darlene (Higgins) Selders on July 29, 1941 in Canton, Ohio. He was married to Bonnie Jean (Foltz) Carson who preceded him in death in 2014.
He retired after 40 years of service in the HVAC field working last for Riggle Brothers as a supervisor. He loved his family and enjoyed being outdoors in nature, and especially enjoyed bass fishing.
Dennis is survived by his daughter Jody (Jim) Duchesneau; one grandson, Samuel and four granddaughters; Natalie, Jordan, Livia and Helena (Frankie) all of Lincoln, Nebraska.  Also surviving is a sister Tami Galliher of Shreve; a niece, Kellie (Tim) Scheck of Mt. Vernon, nephews, Scott (Carol) Galliher of Lee's Summit, MO and Andrew (Kristen) Galliher of Lexington, Ohio.  Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ron and Janet Foltz of Wooster; niece-in-laws; Becky (Kevin) Covert of Wooster and Christy (Buster) Norris of Lucas, Ohio; nephew-in-law, Rich (Gina) Foltz of Wooster along with two step sisters and two step brothers.
In addition to his wife Bonnie, Denny was preceded in death by his  parents; a sister Debbie Michel; half-brother, Edward Carson Jr.; brother-in-law, Tim Galliher and a great nephew; Bryan Galliher; two step brothers and step mother Twila Carson.
Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve is assisting the family with arrangements. A Celebration of Life service for Denny will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared with the family
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH  44691 or the American Cancer Society, if you would so desire.
